New at the Dayton Playhouse:

This season we have made quite a few improvements to our schedule and pricing. Our popular FlipSide series has been such a success that we’ve incorporated it directly into our MainStage series. This allows us to bring you four general audience shows and two avant-garde shows within the format of our regular season. All shows will be full productions. Musicals will be on stage for three consecutive weekends, while plays will be on stage for two consecutive weekends.

Our shows this year were selected by our newly created Artistic Committee. This committee invited directors that have proven themselves in past Dayton Playhouse productions to submit to us shows for consideration. The committee reviewed them and selected our season from among their recommendations. Going forward, the committee will be involved in producing our season. It’s the committees mission to improve upon the standard of excellence Dayton Playhouse has provided our patrons in our first fifty years.

Another new change is the addition of an online ticketing system. This will allow our patrons the convenience to purchase tickets directly from our website at www.daytonplayhouse.org.

Season Ticket Prices:

Season Tickets are $75 for Adults and $70 for Seniors (All six main stage shows)

To ensure that the quality entertainment at the Dayton Playhouse remains affordable, we have increased the value of our season tickets. While our Individual ticket prices have decreased to $15 per show, our subscription price has increased to $75 ;however, we’ve increased the number of shows from five to six. This means our season subscribers get a free show!

We are also offering a Four Package option to our patrons. Patrons may choose ANY four shows of their choice for $55/Adults and $50/Seniors.
