Evolving Covid-19 Situation Necessitates Mask Requirement

At its August meeting the Board of Directors of The Dayton Playhouse adopted a policy to require the wearing of masks by all front-of-house volunteers and audience members attending our 2021-2022 productions. With the recent significant increases in Covid-19 cases across the country and in Ohio, and recent new recommendations on mask wearing indoors from the CDC, requiring masks was deemed a responsible choice for the health and safety of our volunteers and patrons.

This policy will be effective immediately, applies to our first production of the season, American Son, opening on Friday, September 17, 2021, and is subject to change based on changes in the healthcare landscape.
